The 13-year-old daughter of actor Chad Lowe, Fiona, died by suicide, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner.
The American actor and his family announced her death in a heartfelt statement on Tuesday.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a sweet, loving, intelligent and creative young girl who loved to dance,” the family said.
“She was adored by her sisters and deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.”
The family described Fiona’s death as “devastating for the entire family” and said they were “deeply heartbroken” by the loss.
