The two men are connected through a shared ancestor, Ezra Perry, who lived in Massachusetts during the 1600s.
Although Sweeney has never publicly spoken about any family connection to Monroe, she has often brought the iconic star’s style and appearance to the red carpet, echoing the look of the Some Like It Hot actress.
