American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly suffered a head injury after falling at the federal FCI Fort Dix prison in New Jersey. The 56-year-old was allegedly taken from the facility by ambulance on Saturday morning.
Prison sources indicated that Combs was conscious and communicating when he returned to the facility before dawn. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident and the extent of his injuries remain unclear.
The rapper’s representative, Juda Engelmayer, said his team was aware of the reports and was working to confirm the details of the incident.
“Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern,” he said.
It remains unclear how the reported fall occurred. Representatives of the federal prison have also been asked to comment on the incident.
The news comes as Combs continues to serve his prison sentence following a high-profile trial that attracted widespread public attention.
Last year, Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison after a jury found him guilty on two counts related to transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
According to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Combs’ projected release date has been changed several times. His release is currently scheduled for March 2, 2028, approximately six weeks later than the previous date of January 21, 2028.
The reasons for the change have not been officially disclosed. Recent reports have also claimed that Combs has been returned to solitary confinement following allegations that he received preferential treatment while in prison.
One report, citing individuals who had been housed in the same unit as the rapper, alleged that several inmates performed personal services for him, including preparing meals, cleaning his cell, and giving him massages.
The allegations further suggested that Combs may have had access to a mobile phone and a modified tablet, which he allegedly used to watch a documentary by rapper 50 Cent addressing the allegations and controversies surrounding him.
Four individuals who had stayed in the same prison unit also claimed that Combs had access to smuggled alcoholic beverages and other services not typically available to inmates.
According to the same reports, these alleged privileges were financed through other prisoners, whose commissary accounts were reportedly topped up by individuals outside the prison.
However, the claims have not been independently verified. Combs’ representative has stated that there is no way to independently confirm the rumors that have been circulating.
Meanwhile, the Federal Bureau of Prisons has declined to comment on the rapper’s confinement conditions, citing privacy and security concerns and its policy of not discussing the specific circumstances of individual inmates.
