Two films from Kosovo, Dua, directed by Blerta Basholli, and Shame and Money, directed by Visar Morina, have been shortlisted for the 2027 European Film Awards, marking another significant achievement for the country’s film industry.
The selection of both films highlights the growing presence of Kosovo’s filmmakers in European cinema. At this stage, members of the European Film Academy will vote on the nominations, which are scheduled to be announced on November 14, 2026.
The Kosovo Cinematography Center congratulated the directors, producers, actors and crews of both films on this achievement.
