Eminem’s Ex-Wife Back Behind Bars After Violating Court Order

Kim Scott, the 51-year-old ex-wife of rapper Eminem, has been taken into custody after a judge ordered her detention for voluntarily leaving a court-mandated substance abuse treatment program.

The decision followed a heated hearing at Macomb County Circuit Court.

Courtroom footage showed a tense exchange between the judge and Scott’s attorney. Scott had left the treatment program without first submitting a written request to modify the conditions of her release, a move the judge deemed unacceptable. At one point, the attorney interrupted the argument and declared, “I have nothing more to say!”

The judge ultimately rejected the defense’s arguments and revoked Scott’s release on bond.

“I’m here five days a week. You obviously prefer to come when I’m not here,” the judge added.

This is not the first time Scott has faced legal trouble over driving under the influence. She has been involved in two alcohol-related traffic incidents. In February of this year, she crashed her Range Rover into a parked car, and in May, she was involved in another collision.

Scott pleaded guilty to both charges. The judge subsequently allowed her to avoid jail time on the condition that she complete a substance abuse treatment program at a residential rehabilitation facility. However, she failed to comply with that requirement.

Eminem and Kim Scott share a daughter, 30-year-old Hailie Jade. The former couple married twice, first from 1999 to 2001 and again briefly in 2006.
