Just two weeks remain until this year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Unlike previous editions, the event will take place in London, the British capital, rather than Paris, where it has been held since 2018.
Reports had suggested that Lionel Messi, an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner and one of the nominees, would present the prestigious individual award to this year’s winner.
However, the reports have turned out to be false, and Messi’s attendance at the ceremony has not yet been confirmed.
This year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 26.
