Lila Moss, the 23-year-old daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, is reportedly facing a different kind of challenge behind the scenes as she continues to build her own career in fashion.
Lila took part in H&M’s show during London Fashion Week on Friday. A source said she was booked like any other model and has not expected special treatment because of her famous family.
However, the source claims that Lila has often found herself alone backstage and has at times been treated with indifference by other models.
The daughter of Kate Moss and magazine editor Jefferson Hack, Lila has acknowledged that her mother’s surname has opened certain doors for her. At the same time, she has made it clear that she wants to establish her own identity within the fashion industry.
Managed by her mother’s modeling agency, Lila made her official runway debut in 2020, opening and closing Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2021 show.
Since then, she has appeared in campaigns for major fashion and beauty brands, including Gucci, Fendi, Marc Jacobs Beauty and YSL Beauty.
Lila has reportedly told friends that there have been occasions over the years when other models have ignored her or left her on her own.
Her representatives have not commented on the claims. Lila has previously revealed that she still looks through her mother’s wardrobe at least once a week.
