ChatGPT usage in Kosovo is significantly higher than the average among users across the European Union.
German professor and researcher Dominik Kanbach said that approximately one-third of the EU population uses artificial intelligence, while the latest figures for Kosovo put the share at nearly 45%.
“In the European Union, around one-third of the population uses artificial intelligence. In Kosovo, the latest statistics indicate that the figure is almost 45%. So, it is significantly above the EU average,” he said.
Kanbach views this as a positive development, describing it as an asset for the country.
“This may come as a surprise to some people, but I said that this is a good thing. It shows how future-oriented and technologically inclined Kosovo is. I also think the population is young and very forward-looking. That is an asset,” he added.
The German professor also noted that a large proportion of interactions with tools such as ChatGPT relate to everyday personal needs.
“Seventy-three percent of the things people ask ChatGPT about are personal matters, such as how to get somewhere, where to buy something, medical questions, or advice. Three-quarters. That is a lot,” Kanbach emphasized.
