Prosecutors are presenting their case against Russell Brand, who is standing trial on charges of rape and sexual assault.
The 51-year-old actor has pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault.
The allegations, brought by six women, date back to between 1999 and 2009.
Brand arrived at court earlier alongside his wife, Laura.
Speaking to reporters, he said he felt “blessed,” adding: “Of course, I feel anxious, but I hope this process will lead to positive outcomes for everyone. That is my prayer.”
The trial is expected to last up to six weeks at Southwark Crown Court in central London.
