Netanyahu Warns Hezbollah: Israel Will Keep Targeting Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that Israel will continue military operations against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, saying that “there is still work to be done.”

In a video statement, Netanyahu said Israeli forces had targeted Hezbollah positions in the Beaufort and Ali Taher areas, describing the operations as another major success against the Lebanese armed group.

He claimed that Israel had destroyed what he called Hezbollah’s main terrorist strongholds in the Beaufort and Ali Taher ridges, arguing that the targeted sites formed part of the group’s military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

Netanyahu: “Our Policy Is Clear”

Netanyahu said Israel has no plans to halt its operations in what it describes as a security zone in southern Lebanon.

“Our policy is clear: we will continue destroying terrorist infrastructure in the security zone in Lebanon,” Netanyahu said, adding that Israel would continue working to remove what it considers threats to its security.

His remarks followed reports concerning the destruction of Hezbollah underground structures in the Ali Taher area, which Israel considers strategically important to the group’s military activities in southern Lebanon.

Warning of a Stronger Response

Netanyahu also issued a direct warning to Israel’s opponents, saying that any renewed attack against the country would trigger an even stronger response.

“If you have still not learned your lesson and decide to attack us again, you will face even heavier blows,” he said.

The Israeli prime minister concluded by making clear that the military campaign is not over, saying there is still further work to be completed.

His latest remarks signal that Israel intends to maintain military pressure on Hezbollah in southern Lebanon as regional tensions remain high.
