Despite their enormous wealth and $35 million Beverly Hills mansion, Benny Blanco says his everyday life with wife Selena Gomez is surprisingly ordinary.
The 38-year-old producer and the 34-year-old singer and actress tied the knot last September after dating for 18 months.
Blanco revealed that life at home is often simple and relaxed. He cooks meals such as steak with mashed potatoes and spinach, before the couple settles down for a game of Scrabble.
Speaking to The Times during a trip to London for Gomez’s birthday in July, Blanco described his wife as calm and somewhat shy despite spending much of her life in the public eye.
He also said they are both extremely patient and rarely lose their tempers.
The couple purchased their Spanish-style Beverly Hills mansion in February 2025. The property reportedly features seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a library, spiral staircase, greenhouse, fitness center and swimming pool.
Gomez recently sold her Encino home for $5.4 million after initially listing the property for $6.49 million.
The sale comes as Gomez has continued to speak about her hopes of becoming a mother. She recently shared a photo of herself with a baby on Instagram Stories alongside the words, “One day.”
Gomez has previously explained that health complications related to lupus mean carrying a pregnancy herself would pose serious risks.
