Dakota Johnson has spoken candidly about her hopes of having children, as speculation continues over a possible romance with Machine Gun Kelly.
The 36-year-old actress opened up about her personal life in an interview with Vogue, where she also discussed her history of relationships with musicians.
Asked whether she knows many musicians, Johnson joked that musicians tend to like her and she likes them too, although she admitted there are certain things she finds challenging about them, describing musicians as complicated people.
Johnson was previously in a six-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and was later linked to musician Role Model.
More recently, she has been at the center of romance rumors involving Machine Gun Kelly after the two were reportedly spotted together in New York and near Taylor Swift’s apartment.
Johnson also spoke openly about her desire to become a mother, admitting that she had not imagined reaching this stage of her life without having started a family.
“I would love that,” she said of having children, adding that she hopes motherhood will eventually happen for her.
The actress said she has felt for years as though there is “a soul” inside her waiting to come forward and that she hopes she will be fortunate enough to experience becoming a mother.
Johnson also admitted that watching friends start families has sometimes been difficult. She recalled working on her upcoming film The Three Incestuous Sisters, where co-stars Saoirse Ronan and Jessie Buckley had their children with them during production.
When asked about her current relationship status, however, Johnson declined to share details, saying she did not want to discuss it.
Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, reportedly met Johnson at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July. Their more recent meeting in New York has further fueled speculation that the two may be romantically involved.
