Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a meeting with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, one day after the formation of the country’s new government.
During the meeting, Hargreaves congratulated Kurti on the progress made toward establishing Kosovo’s institutions. Kurti, in turn, thanked the ambassador for what he described as the United Kingdom’s continued and unwavering support for Kosovo and its citizens.
The two officials discussed the importance of institutional stability and current political developments, as well as the bilateral relationship between Kosovo and the UK.
Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in areas including the economy, digitalization and information technology, defense, energy and the fight against disinformation.
The meeting comes as Kosovo’s newly formed institutions begin their work, with strengthening international partnerships remaining among the government’s priorities.
