Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Mërgim Lushtaku has said Kosovo must remain prepared to defend the country and its institutions under any circumstances.
Lushtaku described the reported movement of Serbian troops closer to Kosovo’s border as concerning, particularly amid what he called a critical period for the country.
He stressed that, in the event of an attack, Kosovo must be prepared to protect the Republic and its homeland.
Lushtaku also criticized what he described as deliberate misinterpretations of his remarks, accusing government lawmakers of spreading false information that, according to him, only contributes to the broader agenda surrounding the situation.
“The message is clear: if there is an attack, we must be ready to defend the Republic and our homeland under any circumstances,” Lushtaku said.
