In Switzerland, 250 citizens of Kosovo and Albania were subject to expulsion orders (Landesverweisung) in 2025, according to statistics broken down by nationality for convicted adults.
The largest number involved Albanian citizens, with 200 people subject to expulsion orders, while 50 cases involved citizens of Kosovo.
Among Kosovo citizens, 13 people were listed in the category of foreign nationals holding B, C or Ci residence permits, while another 37 were recorded under the category of “other foreign nationals.” For Albanian citizens, all 200 cases were recorded in the latter category.
The statistics refer to adults who received a Landesverweisung order during 2025 and should not be confused with the number of people who were actually removed from Switzerland.
