Danilo Vučić, the son of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, has been seen attending the funeral of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić.
Danilo appeared at the ceremony alongside several people wearing T-shirts featuring the image of Mladić, who was convicted by the Hague tribunal of war crimes and genocide.
Milorad Dodik, the prominent political leader of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska, is also among those attending the funeral.
Banja Luka Mayor Draško Stanivuković was also seen at St. Luke’s Church, where the funeral ceremony is being held.
Several members of the Serbian government are attending as well, including Justice Minister Nikola Vujić.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is not expected to attend the funeral, citing the visit of Kazakhstan’s president to Belgrade as the reason for his absence.
