U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson has welcomed the introduction of the SERBIA Act in the U.S. Senate, thanking Senators Chuck Grassley and Richard Blumenthal for introducing the initiative.
In a post on X, Wilson said that the regime of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is, in his view, desperately trying to remain in power.
“The Serbian people deserve free and fair elections,” Wilson wrote on X.
The SERBIA Act is a legislative initiative aimed at authorizing certain measures concerning Serbia, including issues related to the rule of law, democracy, accountability, and U.S.-Serbia relations.
